introduction
welcome to showie! this is a simple and fast text file
viewer, which accepts any file format and displays it as
plain ansi text. freeware without nag-screens and annoying messages.
files
the original archive contains the following files:
'showie.exe' (421.888 bytes)
'readme.txt' (2.549 bytes)
'file_id.diz' (282 bytes)
'desc.sdi' (282 bytes)
hard- and software requirements
'showie.exe' and the other files together need
approximately 411 kb of hard disk space.
windows 95/98/me/xp, windows nt 4.0, windows 2000, or
better is required.
installation
1. Copy the 'Showie.exe' file in any directory on your hard disk.
2. Create a short cut on your desktop which points to the 'Showie.exe' file.
3. To view a file, simply drag it onto the Showie desktop icon.

distribution
the software may be freely distributed provided that it is
not modified and the original archive remains intact with
